What's In The Mix today?

What's In The Mix - One of my absolute favourites, the provocative Porn Star Martini (now often referred to as Passion Star after complaints in 2019), was created by Douglas Ankrah over 20 years ago. Now it's an absolute classic but I have to say rarely made well and watery, sugary impressions are often served up.

It's zingy & zesty; sweet & exotic and smells divine... served with prosecco on the side the bubbles release those flavours making it a perfect start to a fabulous night out (or in!). Porn shoes are options but great fun and I've fallen off these a few times!!

• 50ml Vanilla vodka

• 25ml Passion fruit liqueur

• Half lime

• 2 Passion fruits - wait until they go a bit wrinkly

• 25ml Passion fruit syrup or pineapple juice - this will help create that gorgeous foam on top

• Add a dash of agave syrup if you like it sweeter.

What's In It For Me?

Passion fruit is packed full of vitamins (A and C), and antioxidants and it even helps with sleep as it contains a good dose of magnesium which reduces anxiety! The lime is also high in Vit C and antioxidants, so make sure it's fresh and not from a bottle.
