What's In The Mix today?

Happy St David's Day! Thought I'd come off theme today and offer up a refreshing 'GARD DEWI SANT' or St David's Day Garden cocktail. This was inspired by the Tudors colours of Henry VIII and the story goes in1536 he gave his daughter a leek on March 1st - green and white colours.

This refreshing (short or long) number leaves you as cool as a cucumber with a refreshing twist!

75ml Gin

15ml Elderflower cordial

25ml lime

Cucumber and mint

Muddle the cucumber and mint then add gin and cordial. Shake with plenty of ice and double strain. This can be drunk as it is or for a longer drink top up with tonic - I suggest Fevertree Elderflower.
